Psychology - NYC

Welcome to the Psychology Department on Pace University’s New York City Campus.

We offer two undergraduate degrees, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Bachelor of Arts in Applied Psychology and Human Relations; and four graduate degrees, MSEd in School Psychology, MSEd in Bilingual School Psychology, MA in General Psychology, and PsyD in School-Clinical Child Psychology. Our PsyD degree is approved by the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) and accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA), and is one of only 10 nationwide recognized as a combined professional-scientific doctoral program by the APA.

Our faculty is committed to excellence in teaching and mentoring. In support of these aims, its members are engaged actively in research, scholarship, practice, and consultation. They include experts in child development, cultural diversity, women’s issues, school and community psychology, social behavior, cognitive psychology, clinical practice, experimental and applied research, industrial/organizational psychology, and counseling.

We are able to draw upon Manhattan’s international city’s enormous and diverse cultural, scientific, medical, social, and educational assets. Our students gain hands-on experience in our on-site clinic, The Thomas J. McShane Center for Psychological Services, and through externships in the surrounding area.
