Westchester County
Westchester County, home of the Department of Public Administration and the Michaelian Institute, provides all County and local government employees with the opportunity to apply for a Michaelian Scholarship for Pace’s MPA program as well as graduate programs in business, computer science, and nursing. Each academic year, the Westchester County Department of Social Services selects qualified employees to receive a full scholarship for the MPA program.

United Way of Westchester/Putnam
The United Way of Westchester/Putnam, in cooperation with the Michaelian Institute and the Wilson Center for Social Entrepeneurship, sponsors a not-for-profit management center which offers non-credit courses at low cost to not-for-profit managers. In addition all employees of such organizations in Westchester and Putnam are eligible to apply to the United Way for a scholarship in the MPA program.

The Department of Public Administration and the Michaelian Institute serve as the secretariat for the New York State County/City Management Association, which is the New York affiliate of the International County/City Management Association (ICMA), the professional organization for municipal managers. This relationship helps our students obtain jobs and internships. The New York association provides a scholarship annually for a Pace graduate student, and students are invited to attend the annual conference without paying the conference fee. Pace graduates frequently occupy leadership positions in the organization.
