The Center for Community Action and Research (CCAR) at Dyson College of Arts and Sciences works to implement Pace’s mandate to provide students with a holistic education that embodies the liberal arts tradition of educating for citizenship and social responsibility. Some of the opportunities that can be found through our office include: the Periclean Fellowship Program, the Jefferson Awards, job opportunities, Alternative Spring Break, local volunteer and advocacy opportunities, grants, and teaching assistantships.
The Center for Community Action and Research (CCAR) collaborates across the Pace community to engender support, bring out the best the university has to offer, and nationally showcase Pace’s innovation. Some partners include: Student Affairs, the Center for Academic Excellence, First Year Programs, the Sophomore Experience Team, Pforzheimer Honors College, and Residential Life.
