It`s Time: The Centennial Campaign
David M. Weinstein
Pace University’s Centennial Campaign — its most ambitious fundraising effort to date — has already raised $84.5 million towards its $100 million goal.
“Increasing the funds available for student scholarships is an important Campaign goal. Through the generosity of donors like David Weinstein, DYS ‘82, LSB ‘91 we continue to support the financial needs of students at Dyson and across the University,” says Vice President of Philanthropy Jeanne Dennison.
David M. Weinstein, principal of Lakeside Advisors, Inc., is a corporate finance specialist with expertise in the development and implementation of business and strategic plans, analysis of strategic alternatives including mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, due diligence, balance sheet recapitalizations, refinancing, debtor-in-possession and post confirmation financing.
In 2003, Weinstein established an endowed scholarship fund named after his aunt Gloria C. Weinstein. This May, he increased his endowment by an additional $25,000.
“The scholarship was established to serve two purposes, one to honor my Aunt and Father’s sister and secondarily to provide financial support and incentives for students who are financially challenged and to encourage them to continue their studies at Pace in the liberal arts,” said Weinstein.
Pace and Dyson look forward working with you to achieve and surpass our fundraising goal so we can continue to provide unique learning opportunities for our students in close collaboration with Dyson faculty.
