SEPTEMBER 1995 -4 Monday Labor Day-University holiday-offices closed. -7 Thursday FALL 1995 UNDERGRADUATE AND GRADUATE CLASSES BEGIN. 14 Thursday Last day to register or add fall 1995 classes without academic approval. 25 Monday Rosh Hashanah-no day or evening classes scheduled.
OCTOBER 1995 -3 Tuesday Start of Yom Kippur- no evening classes scheduled. -4 Wednesday Yom Kippur-no day or evening classes scheduled -5 Thursday All remaining -I' grades for summer session II, 1995 changed to I-F. -9 Monday Columbus Day- day and evening classes scheduled.
NOVEMBER 1995 -2 Thursday Last day to withdraw from fall 1995 classes without academic approval. -7 Tuesday Election Day- day and evening classes scheduled. 11 Saturday Veterans Day- day and evening classes scheduled. 16 Thursday Last day to withdraw from regular fall 1995 classes with academic approval. 23 Thursday Thanksgiving recess- -through no classes scheduled- 26 Sunday University holiday.

JANUARY 1996 -8 Monday Recommended date to file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) with the federal processor for fall semester applicants. (Final deadline for receipt of processed applications is March 15.) TBA Consult the Residential Life Office for spring residence hall opening dates. 15 Monday Martin Luther King Day- University holiday- no classes scheduled- offices closed. 29 Monday SPRING 1996 UNDERGRADUATE AND GRADUATE CLASSES BEGIN.
FEBRUARY 1996 -1 Thursday All remaining -I' grades in fall 1995 semester change to -I-F' -5 Monday Last day to register or add classes for spring 1996 without academic approval. 19 Monday President's Day- University holiday- no classes scheduled- offices closed. MARCH 1996 10 Sunday Spring recess- -through no day or evening classes 17 Sunday scheduled. 15 Wednesday Deadline for receipt of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Applications received after this date will receive second priority in the awarding of University administered aid, subject to the availability of funds. 18 Monday Spring day and evening classes resume.
