PPA Student’s “Beautiful” Video Goes Viral, Featured in People Magazine

PPA freshman, Shea Glover ’20, was featured in a People magazine article about a video she created that has captured more than 9 million views on YouTube. The viral video shows people reacting to being called beautiful. Says Glover, “…it was literally me just filming beauty that I saw in people.”

 

Critic’s Choice Award Winner - James Lipton

James Lipton, the inimitable host of Inside the Actors Studio, won the 5th Annual Critic’s Choice Television Award for Best Reality Show Host. The awards were handed out on January 17 in Santa Monica, CA. This was Lipton’s second nomination and his first win. The series premiered in 1994 and is now seen in 94 million American homes and in 125 countries. Watch his heart felt reaction here.

Mark Hussey Featured in PBS Broadcast

Mark Hussey, distinguished professor of English, was featured in the PBS broadcast Connecting with Virginia Woolf. Hussey founded the International Conference on Virginia Woolf at Pace in 1991, which is an annual conference of scholars that celebrates Woolf’s many contributions to literature.
