Welcome to the Center for Community Action and Research at Dyson College!

Our  mission is to enrich the educational experiences of students, faculty, and staff in a manner that is consistent with Pace’s mission to cultivate tomorrow’s leaders and citizens for active participation in the larger life of their communities, the nation, and the world. 

CCAR coordinates Pace University’s participation in several national civic engagement initiatives. Pace University is a founding member of Project Pericles, a Jefferson Awards Champion, a Carnegie Foundation Community Engagement designee since 2006, and is on the President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll.
