
Jefferson Awards
The Center for Community Action and Research is requesting nominations from Pace University students, faculty and staff for the 2011 Jefferson Awards for Public Service. The Jefferson Awards for Public Service were established to recognize and honor individuals whose community service efforts best exemplify dedication to enhancing the quality of life in their community.
Please be advised that the Jefferson Awards is a competitive award and we are striving to make the best case for you or your nominee. Our goal is to recognize outstanding contributions from members of the Pace community, to the growth and maintenance of their own communities. Nominations are therefore sought for and from individuals who demonstrate a deep and sustained commitment to community service.

2009-2010 Jefferson Winners
Vincent Birkenmeyer (Student PLV), Matt Ganis (Faculty PLV), James Lawler (Faculty PNY),
Isabell McHugh (Staff PLV), Tom Nardi (Faculty PLV), Breanna Romaine Guiliano (Student NY),
Mary Stambaugh (Staff PNY), Miki Tamura (Student NY), Christopher Uhlick (Student PLV), and Christopher Walther (Staff PLV).
Additionally, Breanna Romaine Guiliano was selected to receive the Jefferson Gold Medal Award and represent Pace University at the Jefferson Awards National Ceremonies in Washington DC. The selection of the Gold Medal Awardee is made at the National level by the Jefferson Awards Board of Selectors.
Pace University congratulates the awardees and thanks them for their exemplary commitment to service and citizenship.
