"My interest in the law (and perhaps, watching too much Law and Order) led to a major in Criminal Justice, and I am now part of a tight-knit department."
– Roberto Zumaya, Class of 2017

Growing up in a small town in Texas, I was really nervous about moving to New York City. I was aware of Pace successfully connecting students with internship opportunities, and also liked its student diversity. What ultimately brought me here was an encouraging call from the Admissions Office after my acceptance. My interest in the law (and perhaps, watching too much Law and Order) led to a major in Criminal Justice, and I am now part of a tight-knit department through which I obtained a great internship in the New York City Sheriff’s Office. With so much support from both my professors and students within my major, I am proof that people should never give up on who they aspire to be!
