The ELI English Placement Test includes five parts: a multiple-choice listening test (40 minutes), a multiple-choice grammar test (30 minutes), a reading section (30 minutes), a writing section where you read a short prompt and respond in essay format (30 minutes), and a short interview with an advisor. You will get your test results from your advisor the day of the test. You will also register for classes the day of the test.
