Intensive English Program

Classes are scheduled during the day. Students learn the essentials of grammar and writing; improve listening, speaking and pronunciation skills; and enhance their vocabulary through reading. Prepare for the TOEFL test. Learn about American culture.

Legal Academic and English Skills Course

This course is designed for prospective and current international graduate law students to provide them with the language and academic skills needed to succeed in an American law school as well as the English necessary for legal purposes and understanding of American laws. The class meets twice a week on the Pleasantville campus.

English for Lawyers Program (White Plains Law School) : This program is designed for international LL.M. students to provide them with the language and academic skills needed to succeed in an American law school as well as the English necessary for legal purposes and understanding of American laws.

Evening ESL Program

Evening ESL Program (White Plains) : Classes in this program are conveniently scheduled on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Courses are designed for non-native English speakers who want to improve their English skills for academic, personal and professional reasons.

Saturday ESL Program

Saturday ESL Program (White Plains) : Classes in this program are conveniently scheduled on Saturday morning and afternoon. Courses are designed for non-native English speakers who want to improve their English skills for personal and professional reasons. Students may improve their writing, prepare for the TOEFL exam, work on accent reduction, and improve speaking skills.

Test Preparation

Test Preparation (Pleasantville/White Plains) : TOEFL test preparation is offered in the  Intensive English Program and in the  Saturday Program.

 

 

English for Professionals
 

English for Professionals (White Plains) : The English for Professionals (EFP) program trains non-native speakers in practical business English and US business culture. All training is highly interactive, skills-based, and focuses on job performance and career enhancement.
