Purpose
This course is designed to provide prospective and current international graduate law students with the language and academic skills needed to succeed in law school in the United States as well as to provide international lawyers with the English necessary for legal purposes and understanding of U.S. laws.
Approach
A legal academic and English skills-based approach with legal content will be used to introduce prospective international graduate law students and lawyers to legal writing, reading, listening and speaking skills required for academic success in a Juris Doctor (J.D.) or Master of Laws (LL.M.) Degree Program, or for legal work with U.S. clients.
