Afternoon & Evening ESL Program

*Applies to Saturday Professional English and Active Grammar courses. This offer also applies to evening courses. It does NOT include weekday morning courses or materials fees which may be $10 to 20 depending on the course.

ALL PROGRAMS AND THE ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE ARE ON THE PACE LAW SCHOOL CAMPUS AT 78 NORTH BROADWAY, WHITE PLAINS

Classes in this program are conveniently scheduled on Monday and Wednesday from 7:00-9:30pm. Courses are designed for non-native English speakers who want to improve their English skills for academic, personal and professional reasons.

Please mail your registration form and your payment payable to Pace University to your office. Payment in a personal check or money order only. If you are using a money order, please bring it to our office in person as we will not be able to be responsible for the loss of money order.


Course Descriptions

Conversation, Grammar & Pronunciation: This course emphasizes accurate and fluent pronunciation in the context of discussions of occupations, history, culture, politics, and current events. After viewing and discussing professional talks, students participate in activities aimed at helping them integrate and use the new vocabulary and idioms.

Cross-Cultural Communication, Grammar & Pronunciation: This course emphasizes accurate and fluent pronunciation in the context of discussions of occupations, history, culture, politics, and current events. After viewing and discussing professional talks, students participate in activities aimed at helping them integrate and use the new vocabulary and idioms.

English for Developing Learners I (Emerging & Low Intermediate Level): This interactive integrated English course was designed instruct emerging or basic level English users in speaking, listening, reading and writing the language. The instructor will target language and grammatical structures that are essential for everyday communication in English.

Classroom: Ottinger G-02. Classroom maybe changed. An email will be sent to you before the start of the course. If you do not see the email from ELI in a few days before the class start date, please check your junk mail folder, or call ELI at 914-422-4042.

ID Policies

Saturday, Evening, TOEFL Blast, and Weekday Intensive students will receive an ELI ID card. Please keep the card with you if you plan to continue or if you think you may take our courses in the future. You will be charged $20 if you need the replacement card. Please be informed that Weekend Intensive students will not receive the ID card. The policies are in effect from Summer II 2016 students.
