SPA 150B Travel Course to Brazil (3 credits)
This course is designed to introduce students to cultural, environmental and historical issues in Brazil. Brazil offers extraordinary diversity of cultures, races, ethnic groups, and natural environments. Its vastness (it is fifth in the world in size) and economic output make it a powerful nation on the global scene. The aims of the course are to provide a cultural, historical and literary background for the field trip experience in different parts of Brazil.
