Environmental Law Society (ELS)
The Environmental Law Society takes an active role in auditing the University’s environmental practices, participating in local and regional clean-up activities, and hosting the annual Earth Day celebration. ELS was founded in 1978 and is governed by students.
NATURE (Natural Activists Teaching an Understanding and Respect for the Environment)
NATURE is the environmental club for the Pleasantville campus, based at the Environmental Center. The club’s focus is on local and global environmental issues. Events are aimed at bringing awareness to the Pace community of pressing environmental issues.
S.A.F.E.R. (Student Activists for Environmental Responsibilty)
S.A.F.E.R. is the environmental club for the New York City Campus that pledges to educate fellow Pace students about what it means to be an environmentally responsible person living in the modern world, promoting environmentally responsible decisions and sustainable adaptations throughout the community.
The Vegetarian Society, based in the New York City campus, is geared towards creating a friendly environment for carnivores and vegetarians alike, where students can learn the impacts of meat production and consumption to both personal and planetary health. The purpose of this club is to provide a potential outlet into a world where people are more understanding of the significance that each bite of food represents.
