Pace University Interior Design
The Interior Design Department is responsible for planning, and selection of interior and exterior design standards for Pace University.
Duties include consulting with department heads regarding decisions on design upgrades such as ; fabric selections for wall, floor and window coverings, paint colors, and furniture, shelving and other interior selections. Proposals for design work are prepared with regard to budgetary restrictions and user expectations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Plan, design and supervise design renovations for aesthetic improvements on Capital Projects and department related interior design projects
Prepare and review quotes and bid proposals for Capital Projects
Meet with department heads or representatives to determine interior needs including furniture and color selections of wall, floor and window coverings
Collaborates with the Capital Project Team on renovation projects
Maintains sample materials on available products and materials
Meets with vendors, suppliers, contractors, and Pace Clients to review design specifications
Procures furniture, materials and textiles
Prepares proposals for design work including sketches and cost estimates
