Kevin Saunders

A student who has thrown himself into the Pace community with the intensity of a force of nature, Kevin Saunders has seemingly tried all Pace has to offer.  Kevin has an impressive resume so far, including being the newest President of the Student Association (SA), a Resident Assistant (RA), a successful former President of Black Student Union (BSU), and a former executive board member of reconstructing radio station Pace Audio World (WPAW).

Personally, Kevin is most proud of his election victory in the SA last spring.  “I was happy to see that my peers believe that I am an asset to the students,” he had to say.

Kevin joined the Pforzheimer Honors College as a first-year student, and is now 21-years-old.  After three years of dedication, Kevin is looking forward to his fourth and fifth years here at Pace as he is in the combined BBA/MBA accounting program.  Kevin has various words of wisdom for his fellow students: “Get involved, meet new people!  Networking is the key to success after college.  Knowing the right person may put you in a great position to succeed.”

Although Kevin is devoted to his work, his academics, and furthering his life, he is not all business.  His time card is filled with work, but he still leaves time for family and, of course, fun.  If given his choice of activities, with no responsibility in sight, what would he do?  “Eat a warm apple pie with vanilla ice cream on top, while playing Madden ‘07.”  That definitely sounds better than a pile of homework to most people.  Oh, and, if he could be any superhero, he’s be Gambit from the X-Men.

Are there other interesting things about this Honors College personality?  He starred in an anti-smoking commercial, his dearest ambition is to “make a difference before [he] passes,” and he eats Cheerios with orange juice.  He requests you reserve judgment until you try it.
