On Tuesday, November 27, 2007, eighty-nine
Psychology Club, and the Golden Key International Honor Society.
The event kicked off with an introduction by Dr. Janetta Rebold Benton, the Honors College Director for the Pleasantville campus. She invited students to help themselves to a late afternoon snack of pizza and soda while also reminding them to sign in - - attendance is always important! After Ms Geiger’s speech, students began wrapping toys and making holiday cards. Joyful banter filled the air as students socialized while donating their time. The event lasted well after its formal Common Hour time slot as there were many gifts to wrap and students enjoyed being given the opportunity to make a difference. Everyone was filled with holiday cheer as students wrapped a total of 225 gifts. Sal Antolos, a junior Accounting major stated, “It has been a rewarding experience to give back to the children during the holiday season.
