Guiding Eyes for the Blind Presentation

Come listen to Ms Vikki Iwanick, Volunteer Services Manager at Guiding Eyes for the Blind, and meet a canine visitor. Guiding Eyes for the Blind is an internationally accredited, non-profit guide dog school with a 50-plus year legacy of providing the blind and visually impaired with superior Guiding Eyes dogs, training, and lifetime support services.

 

Make a Difference Day - Paint a School Day with NYCares

Be one of 100 Pace students from Westchester and New York as we converge on an elementary school in New York City that needs a makeover! Pace students will be painting doors, the gym, colorful murals, and planting flower bulbs to help this needy school.

Make A Difference Day – Pace Reads at the Mt. Pleasant Library

Make a Difference Day is a national service day dedicated to helping other people -- a celebration of neighbors helping neighbors. We will be reading books to the children of the Pleasantville community.

The Honors College and the Center for Community Outreach will decorate four cottages for the holidays at the Pleasantville Cottage School, while getting an introduction to residential treatment centers from Ms Phina Geiger, Director of Volunteers at the Pleasantville Cottage School.
