On Monday, March 13, 2006, the
Dr. Kahn spoke to students about the hidden opportunities of Pace, emphasizing the study abroad program and encouraging students to take a travel course. Dr. Kahn referred to Honors students as the future world leaders and told them that to get a true understanding of the “real world” that they had to leave Pace and explore. The combination of a Pace education and real world experience is what will make everyone excel. She also told students to “get a real job this summer” and encouraged all to visit Co-Op for such an opportunity.
Dr. Benton then took the podium to discuss events and classes for the Fall 2006 and Spring 2007 semesters. Some events mentioned included a Broadway play or a museum visit. Class ideas included travel courses taught by Dr. Benton and a graphic design learning community.
