Honors T-shirt Competition
Please use the website customink.com to design an Honors College T-shirt to be distributed to all Honors students who attend more than the minimum of two Honors events each semester.
Submit all entries to the Honors College Office by Thursday, March 8 and voting will take place on Monday, March 12 at the Honors Open Meeting. The winning T-shirt design will be announced in the April issue of Scholastica.
Trip to a Broadway Play: Chicago

Come join the Honors College as we travel into Manhattan to see the world-renowned Broadway play, Chicago. Students will pay $30, which is half of the ticket price, to make their reservation. We will catch the 5:45 pm Metro-North train from Pleasantville. You will have to pay for your own train ticket ($17.00 round trip). The play begins at 8:00pm.
Chicago follows “not your usual housewife,” Roxie Hart, who gains dubious notoriety when she kills her boyfriend, invents her defense and manipulates everyone from her trustworthy husband to the fickle media and the unsuspecting public.

Attend a presentation by SurfAid International, a non-profit humanitarian aid organization whose goal is to improve the health of people living in isolated regions connected to us through surfing. SurfAid seeks the alleviation of suffering through health projects that enhance local capacities and promote community-based, self-help solutions, guided by the aspirations of its beneficiaries. Dinner will be served, Hawaiian style. Tickets can be purchase through the Honors College Office.
