Welcome First Year Students! Honors Adopt-A-Frosh Lunch

* The Honors College would like to welcome first-year Honors students to Pace University by hosting a welcome event for first-year students and their adopt-a-frosh mentors.

*Join the Pforzheimer Honors College for ice cream and the opportunity to meet fellow Honors College students, while meeting the new Director, Dr. Sheila Chiffriller, and the new office staff.

 

Driving Your Business: Women at the Wheel

*Featuring five exceptional women executives, each   representing a critical industry, the WCA is proud to be a co-sponsor of this important seminar on how to run a successful business. These corporate superstars will discuss the management style and philosophy that has propelled them and their business to the top of the field.  Whether you are an entrepreneur or executive, this is a not to be missed event.

Undergraduate Research Enrichment Seminar: Program Overview and Goal Setting

* UGR participants will be introduced to the goals and expectations of the Student-Faculty Research Program. Each participant will have the opportunity to meet one another, describe his/her research project and participate in a goal setting activity for what they hope to gain from the UGR experience. In addition, participants will engage in a brief discussion on the value and importance of reflective practices for research purposes.

* Representatives from the Career Services Office will help Honors students prepare for the upcoming Career Fair on October 9th. They will teach you what to wear, say, and do to get the most out of the Career Fair.

 

 

 

Warwick Annual Apple Festival


*          Sunday, October 6

*          Time: TBD

*          Location: Warwick, NY

*          Bus Transportation Provided

*          Free Admission

* Applefest began in 1989 as a simple harvest celebration to support the Warwick Valley Community Center. Named one of the “Top 100 Events” in the country, over 30,000 visitors now attend the one-day event, traveling from neighboring states to experience the extraordinary variety of Warwick’s apples, culture, and entertainment.

* Lots to do: Dozens of food vendors, 50 local non-profit exhibitors, music & entertainment on several stages all day, childrens’ carnival, farmers’ market, walk to Village shops, restaurants & businesses, apple pie baking contest (slices for sale!)
