Office Assistant & Desk Attendant Position Overview
DESK ATTENDANT
The chief duty of the Desk Attendant (DA) is to enforce and administer the guest policies and procedures established by the Office of Housing and Residential Life. In addition, the DA is available to assist students with lock-outs and answer about the university. The DA is also responsible for aiding other staff members during an emergency alarm.
Students must have work-study to apply for a DA position. Shift hours are available from 8 AM to 2 AM every day. Residential Life is currently hiring DAs! If you are interested in applying for the position, please contact Ahmed Nassef at hrl5@pace.edu.
OFFICE ASSISTANT
The Office Assistant (OA) is a work-study position for the Office of Housing & Residential Life. The OA supports the department’s mission by assisting with the daily operations of the office and providing quality service to the students. The OA serves as resource person by helping students with their housing related questions, referring them to the appropriate staff member and collaborating with other University departments.
The OA works in the central office between 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday. In addition, the OA designs their work schedule around their Pace academic classes during the day.
