Application Process & Timeline
Full-time Pace undergraduate and graduate students are eligible to apply for a Resident Advisor (RA) position. If you are interested in becoming a RA for the 2013-2014 academic year, then you must complete the following:
- Attend one required information session during the Fall 2012 semester. Here, you will learn more about the RA position and will have an opportunity to address any questions or concerns. The RA Application will be available on our website on Monday, November 12, 2012.
- Complete and submit your RA Application along with your two Recommendation Forms to the Office of Housing & Residential Life by Thursday, February 7, 2013.
- If you meet the requirements, then you will move forward to the interview process (i.e., an individual interview with Residential Life's Professional Staff and a group process interview with all of the candidates).
RA STAFF SELECTION TIMELINE*
November 12, 2012 - December 6, 2012: RA Information Sessions
November 12, 2012: RA Application and Recommendation Forms are available on the housing website only.
February 7, 2013: Completed RA Application and two Forms of Recommendation are due to the Office of Housing & Residential Life no later than 5:00 p.m.
February 19, 2013: Information regarding the interview process distributed to applicants via e-mail only if all qualifications are met.
February 23, 2013: Group Process Interview (Time: 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.; Location: TBA)
February 24, 2013: Individual Interview (Time: 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.; Location: TBA)
March 22, 2013: Decision letters distributed to candidates via e-mail only.
April 2013: Mandatory one day Orientation for new hires and returning Resident Advisors.
