Debbie Levesque

Assistant Dean for Students

Director of Residential Life

Debbie has been at Pace for more than 18 years.  Prior to her current role as Director, she worked in Admissions, Student Affairs, and Student Life.  Debbie attended both the University of Kentucky and Pace, where she earned an M.S. in Counseling.  In addition to her work with Residential Life, she enjoys being a resource to a variety of student groups and a proponent of leadership and community involvement.

Ryan D. Young

Associate Director - Training & Development

Ryan is a proud “military brat” who claims many places as his home, but most often uses Quantico, Virginia. He received his BS in Biology/Chemistry Secondary Education from Florida Southern College where he was involved in such activities as Admissions, Greek Life, Orientation and Residence Life. After graduating, he was a High School teacher, but continued to work with Student Leadership by advising the SGA. Ryan returned to school to earn his MAster's in Educational Leadership from the University of Central Florida. While at UCF, he was Graduate Assistant for the Office of Student Involvement and for Housing & Residence Life. Ryan then spent 4 years as a Residence Director for the University of Massachusetts Amherst before coming to Pace as the Assistant Director for Student Development & Campus Activities. Ryan is excited to be in his second year as a member of the Office of Residential Life.  Professionally, Ryan is a member of ACPA and NASPA and has attended several national and regional conferences.  Ryan is also currently serving at the Metro New York District Coordinator for NorthEast Association of College and University Housing Officers (NEACUHO).

Matthew Lavery

Associate Director - Housing Operations

Matt is originally from Manchester, Connecticut.  He recieved his BS in Computer Science from Stonehill College where he was a Resident Assistant for three years.  Following that, Matt earned his Master's Degree in Higher Education - Administration from Redlands College in Redlands, CA.  After earning his degree, he has worked for Residence Life programs at the University of Idaho, Oklahoma State University, and most recently, Eastern Kentucky University where he held the position of Associate Director.  Matt is excited to be a part of the Pace University community.

Matt Landau

Area Director - Student Conduct

 

Matthew Landau was born in Kingston, NY and split his childhood in New York and the suburbs of Philadelphia. He attended Binghamton University, attaining a B.A. in Political Science. At Binghamton he served as Student Association President, earning him accolades through the years, including but not limited to, the Paul J. Battaglia Student Organization Leader of the Year.  Matthew has a Masters of Science in Teaching and a Masters in Public Administration.  Matt spent the last two years as a Residence Director at Pace and is very excited to begin his new position as an Area Director.

Tatiana Rugel

Area Director - Community Development

Though Tatiana has lived in a few states, RI will always be called home for her. Tatiana grew up in Newport, RI surrounded by the ocean. She did her undergraduate work at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Slow to get involved, Tatiana found herself becoming involved in the Residence Hall Association, the National Residence Hall Honorary, and becoming a Resident Assistant. Upon receiving her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Legal Studies,  Tatiana decided to continue in student affairs at Arizona State University. While at ASU, Tatiana worked as an Assistant Community Director, advised the hall council, and advised the campus' chapter of NRHH.   She received her Master's Degree in Higher and Postsecondary Education from ASU and decided that it was time to come back to the east coast.  Tatiana is very excited to be joining Pace University as the new Area Director for Community Development!

Erin McNamara

Office Manager

A lifelong resident of Westchester County, Erin began her career working for Pace University in the spring of 2008.  Prior to joining the Residential Life staff, Erin was the personal assistant to the president of Oceana Publications Inc. which was later bought out by Oxford University Press.  From 1985-1997, Erin spent her time as the personal assistant to the CEO of Carrafiello – Diehl and Associates Inc. of Irvington, New York.  They were the largest advertising agency in Westchester County representing companies such as Phizer, Block Drug, American Cyanamids, and Tambrands to name a few.  When Erin is not working on campus or attending Paces sporting events, she is busy as a licensed real estate agent for the Coldwell Banker branch in Briarcliff Manor.
