Programing & Events in Pace Housing

The undergraduate experience is about getting a good education, but it's also about growing as a person.  We encourage you to try new things, make new friends, and challenge yourself to step out of your comfort zone by exploring both Pace University and New York City.  Your Resident Advisors (RAs) will plan events to help you on your way. Programs are planned by the RA staff throughout the year.  The wide range of social and educational events offered, enhance the academic experience and provide opportunities for community development. Get involved! Take advantage of floor, building and campus-wide programs.  Involvement in the Pace community happens informally, too. Some of your best memories may be the spontaneous moments: meeting other new residents at a pancake party, playing an impromptu Frisbee game at Battery Park, gathering with your friends at Midnight Breakfast. Students that get involved are more likely to stay in college, earn a higher GPA, and experience a greater degree of satisfaction with their overall college experience.

Traditional activities planned in the residence halls include:

• Date Auction – Volunteer to be sold & come ready to buy your friends! This popular charity event raises hundreds of dollars each semester.

• Dance-A-Thon – Nonstop dancing, snacks and prizes hosted by a popular NYC DJ.

• Haunted House – A night of creepy crawly terrifying fun hosted by Pace residents, Resident Advisors and our Residence Hall Association.

• Wellness Week – Celebrate making healthy choices and embracing holistic health by attending events scheduled daily.
