Programming & Theme Floors

At Pace University, the undergraduate experience is about getting a good education, but it's also about growing as a person.  We encourage you to try new things, make new friends, and challenge yourself to step out of your comfort zone by exploring both Pace University and New York City.  Your Resident Advisors (RAs) will plan events to help you on your way. Programs are planned by the RA staff throughout the year.  The wide range of social and educational events offered, enhance the academic experience and provide opportunities for community development. Get involved! Take advantage of floor, building and campus-wide programs.  Involvement in the Pace community happens informally, too. Some of your best memories may be the spontaneous moments: meeting other new residents at a pancake party, playing an impromptu Frisbee game at Battery Park, gathering with your friends at Midnight Breakfast. Students that get involved are more likely to stay in college, earn a higher GPA, and experience a greater degree of satisfaction with their overall college experience.  No matter what building for floor you live on we encourage you to become an active community member.

At Pace we offer two unique experiences for programming.  Students who live on our traditional, non-theme floors are modeled after our PRIDE programming model which include opportunities in the following areas:

  • Personal Growth

  • Recreation

  • Involvement

  • Diversity

  • Education

Our Theme Floor communities offer students with a unified interest to peruse their passion around a common theme.  These communities offer our students opportunities for further exploration within a common theme as well as assisting students in building both professional and personal support networks for future academic success.
