JANUARY 2012

  • Tuesday, 1/24 – Email sent to residents with important semester dates – Break desk schedules, Room selection dates, Summer housing application dates, Closing dates, Commencement date (and process for applying for late check out), Summer housing transition dates


FEBRUARY 2012

  • Saturday, 2/4 – Student Leadership Conference
  • Monday, 2/6-  Resident Advisor Applications are due by 5:00 PM
  • Tuesday, 2/7 through Wednesday, 2/29-  Residential Feedback Questionnaire available online
  • Monday, 2/13 – NYC Summer housing applications available online
  • Friday, 2/17 – NYU Student Affairs conference (Housing Staff ONLY)
  • Monday, 2/20 – Presidents Day – no classes
  • Wednesday, 2/22-  Pace Preview Orientation (#1) Meeting Lecture Hall North at 9:30 PM
  • Saturday, 2/25 and Sunday, 2/26 – Resident Advisor Selection Weekend
  • Monday, 2/27 – Wellness Week Begins
  • Monday, 2/27 – Room Selection Materials will be posted on the website and distributed to all residents

MARCH 2012

  • Friday, 3/2-  Wellness Week Ends
  • Sunday, 3/4 and Monday, 3/5 – Pace Preview (#1):  WOULD YOU LIKE TO HOST?
  • Wednesday, 3/7 through Wednesday, 3/14 – Student Affairs NASPA Conference, Phoenix, AZ (HOUSING STAFF ONLY)
  • Monday, 3/12 to Saturday, 3/17 – Spring Break – no classes
  • Friday, 3/23 to Wednesday, 3/28 – Student Affairs ACPA Conference, Louisville, KY (HOUSING STAFF ONLY)


APRIL 2012

  • Wednesday, 4/4-  Pace Preview (#2) Orientation Meeting Lecture Hall North at 9:30 PM
  • Friday, 4/6 – Passover/Easter – No Classes
  • Sunday, 4/15 and Monday, 4/16 – Pace Preview (#2) WOULD YOU LIKE TO HOST?
  • Monday, 4/16 – deadline for NYC Summer housing applications
  • Thursday, 4/19 and Friday, 4/20 – room selection for NYC Summer housing (summer session 1)
  • Thursday, 4/26 and Friday, 4/27 – Study Day – no daytime classes
  • Thursday, 4/26 – Housing End of the year banquet in Multipurpose Room, One Pace Plaza
  • Saturday, 4/28 -  RHA’s Casino Royale at One Pace Plaza in Student Union


MAY 2012

  • Tuesday, 5/1 Priority Deadline for all NEW students applying to housing for Fall 2012
  • Wednesday, 5/9 at 5:00 PM – Residence Halls Close
  • Monday, 5/14 – Deadline to cancel NYC Summer housing application (deposit is non-refundable; students will receive a prorated charge for summer session if cancelling after this date)
  • Wednesday, 5/16 – Undergraduate Commencement at 10:30 AM; Graduate Commencement at 4:30 PM
  • Sunday, 5/27 – Move-In for summer housing
