Housing Points For Returning Student Room Selection
Housing points are utilized to help determine the order in which returning students select their fall room assignment.
There are six components. Students will earn or forfeit housing points based on:
- Credits Completed
- Cumulative Grade Point Average
- Residence Hall Participation
- Campus Involvement
- Community Service
- Conduct History
Housing points information will be emailed to students on Monday, March 5, 2018. Students will be able to dispute their housing points between March 5, 2018, and March 9, 2018, by completing the Housing Points Dispute Form. All Dispute Form submissions will be responded to by Friday, March 16, 2018.
Credits Completed (earn max 14 points)
Based on credits earned as of the end of the fall semester. New residents as of the spring semester will have their transfer credits count as their total credits, provided the credits have been properly transferred and posted. Max = 14 points.

Based on involvement between September 1, 2017, to January 31, 2018

Residents who have participated in a community service project are entitled to up to two additional housing point. Students must obtain proof of participation from the appropriate staff person and present it to the Office of Residential Life & Housing by completing the Community Service Verification.

Residents who have accumulated Conduct Points will forfeit housing points. This is based on a students Conduct History by February 28, 2018.
