Guide to Residential Life

The Guide to Residential Life is the handbook for Pace students who live on-campus. The Guide gives information about policies within the Residence Halls, our Guiding Principles, and other information that supports the academic mission of Pace University along with the Residence Hall experience. All residential students are responsible to know the information in the Guide.

This is the chart that every resident signs when moving into the residence halls. It lists possible sanctions for discipline cases held within the Office of Residential Life & Housing.

Amnesty Policy

The Office of Residential Life & Housing believes in the safety and security of our residents in the residence halls and the community.  If you see someone that is in need of medical attention, please reach out to residence life staff member who can assist.  The amnesty policy is put in place to make sure that residents will come forward at any time to take care of their fellow residents.  Read the amnesty policy (PDF).

Sex-Based Misconduct Policy and Procedure

It is the policy of Pace University to provide a safe environment, one that is free from violence, for every member of its community. Accordingly, the University prohibits and does not tolerate acts of violence that occur on University owned or controlled premises or at University - sponsored off - campus programs or events. Violent acts covered by this policy include sexual assault, stalking, and domestic and intimate partner violence against any member of the University community.

This policy applies to all students, faculty, and staff, as well as to visitors, guests, vendors, contractors, and other third parties. Violators of this policy are subject to criminal prosecution as well as discipline by the University including, but not limited to, termination or employment, expulsion from the University, and/or other appropriate sanctions that may be imposed by the University.
