Great Colleges to Work For - Survey Results from 2009

As you may recall, in April 2009 we circulated information regarding Pace University’s participation in The Chronicle of Higher Education’s 2009 “Great Colleges to Work For” program. Below, please find a link that summarizes the survey results:

The color-coded report lets you see at a glance how Pace scored overall, where our strengths lie, where barriers exist, as well as, how we compare with our peers.

While there is some variation among the dimensions (for example, most schools tend to score lower on Compensation and Benefits as well as Fairness), the following Guidelines should help you interpret our scores:

75% +

Very Good to Excellent

65% - 74%

55% - 64%

Fair to Mediocre

45% - 54%

Yellow Flag

< 45%

Red Flag

Results in the first column of the table reflect Pace’s average percent positive for each survey dimension, that is, the percentage of our employees who responded with “Strongly Agree” or “Agree” to the statements comprising that specific theme. In addition to Pace’s data, you will see comparative Benchmark Data based on our Enrollment Size (second column) and Carnegie Classification (third column). Also, Pace University found participation in last year’s program quite beneficial. As a result, we will be participating in the program once again this year. We will be contacting you in the near future with information pertaining to this year’s program soon.

In the meantime, please feel free to take a look at what this program is all about by clicking on the link below (or pasting the link into your browser’s address bar).

Thank you in advance.
