Leadership Forum 2012

Leadership Forum 2012's topic covered “Maximizing Employee Engagement through Positive Psychology: Creating a Strengths-Based Work Place”. The forum was held on Friday, June 1, 2012 at the Graduate Center, One Martine Avenue, White Plains.

We are very pleased that James O. Pawelski, Ph.D. served as our keynote speaker for the 2012 Leadership Forum.  Dr. Pawelski is the founding director of the Master of Applied Positive Psychology program at the University of Pennsylvania, where he teaches courses on positive interventions and the humanities and human flourishing. He is also Director of Education and Senior Scholar in the Positive Psychology Center, and Adjunct Associate Professor of Religious Studies in the School of Arts and Sciences at the University of Pennsylvania. In addition, he is the founding executive director of the International Positive Psychology Association.

Dr. Pawleski presented concepts and techniques that helped Pace University and its employees continue to flourish during a time of challenge and change. We learned how positive psychology can help us identify and cultivate our own strengths, as well as the strengths of our team members, and sustain a strengths-based environment and culture.
