System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) Update and System Center 2012 EndpointProtection
ITS is currently working on deploying our new System Center Configuration Manager Client for computers throughout the University.  We will be rollingthis out to key areas on specific dates over the course of January (you can contact your department IMO for the specific schedule).  Once the updates have been completed for your area, you will see a notification in the system tray stating that the System Center Configuration Manger client has been installed.  You do not need to do anything as this is just a notification to inform you that the installation has been completed.  In addition to the SCCM upgrade, your antivirus client will also be updated to the latest version released from Microsoft.  This new version is called System Center 2012 Endpoint Protection and will replace Microsoft Forefront.

Augmented Pace Action Plan
ITS worked with the Provost office to provide an internal site that allows the Pace community to submit feedback to the Provost Office using a web form.  The Action Team Reports (December 2012) are available on a secure Pace network for students, faculty, and staff and can be located using the following link: Augmented Pace Action Plan Action Team Reports. (NOTE: This site is only accessible on the Pace Network.  Anyone not on the Pace network will need VPN to access it; everyone with a Pace ID has access to VPN. Guidelines on VPN are available at: www.pace.edu/information-technology-services/services/virtual-private-network. Please direct any technical questions to pacehelpdesk@pace.edu.)
