Software License Policies
Pace University has a variety of 'enterprise' software license agreements which allow various groups of the University Community to access software products. The Information Technology Services (ITS) administers many of these 'enterprise' license agreements.
Microsoft Campus Agreement
As part of the University Microsoft Campus Agreement, Faculty and Staff are eligible to receive Microsoft Office System software for home use for $9.95 (plus shipping and handling).
To obtain the software for home use:

submit a ticket through http://help.pace.edu
- your request will be processed within 24 hours and you will receive an e-mail response with instructions on how to obtain the software
SPSS Software for Windows
Pace University is licensed to access SPSS modules: SPSS Base, Regression, Advanced and Trends on all Pace-owned Windows computers. The software is installed on centrally-located servers and is available to users over the Pace network. Contact ITS's Customer Support Center at 914-773-DOIT (3648) or by going to http://help.pace.edu to request an appointment for installation of the client software on your office computer.
A work at home copy of this software is available for faculty and staff. To obtain a copy of the SPSS software, place a service request via the online ITS HelpDesk at http://help.pace.edu. Select a Request Area entitled Software for Home and then select SPSS. Complete the rest of the form and submit for processing. You will be contacted by an ITS representative who will make arrangement with you to download the software.
Note: There are two options for you to get a copy of SPSS:
- Bring your personal computer to one of our Walk-In Centers located in Pleasantville Wilcox Hall 2nd Flr and New York One Pace Plaza W202
- Bring one blank DVD to one of our Walk-In Centers located in Pleasantville Wilcox Hall 2nd Flr and New York One Pace Plaza W202
SAS Software
The SAS SYSTEM provides Windows-based statistical applications that are fully integrated and that are built around the four primary data-driven tasks common to any application: data access, data management, data analysis and data presentation.
Pace University, as a participant in SAS's Gold Tier program, is licensed to distribute SAS software to students, faculty and staff for their office and home computers. SAS modules are resource intensive and require 400 Mhz PCs with at least 120 MB RAM and large hard drives.

To obtain a copy of the SAS software, place a service request via the online ITS HelpDesk at http://help.pace.edu. Select a Request Area entitled Software for Home and then select SAS. You will be contacted by an ITS representative who will make arrangement with you to download the software.
