Academic Technology

The Office of Academic Technology is a direct connection between the IT department and the Pace community, including students, faculty and staff alike. The Academic Technology staff explores, evaluates and implements various instructional technologies that are in line with faculty’s pedagogical practices.  Learning management systems, web conferencing, lecture capture software and electronic portfolios are key areas of focus.

The office of Academic Technology educates faculty and students about the effective use of these technologies through workshops, teaching circles, and user groups. The office works closely with various institutions to share best practices and gain new ideas for effective and efficient use of technologies.
