As Pace University’s Vice President for Information Technology and Chief Information Officer, Clare van den Blink is the leader of Pace University’s Information Technology Services (ITS).  Clare's responsibility as CIO is to lead the development and implementation of a strategic technology agenda that supports Pace’s mission, strategic goals, and academic programs. In addition to her responsibility for all information technology and infrastructure support services for academic, research, and administrative computing at Pace, she will also oversee all of the university’s telecommunications, networking services and information security.

“Pace has well developed information technology services that can be leveraged to encourage innovation in teaching and learning, and support distinctive research programs,” Clare van den Blink said. “I look forward to joining the Pace University community and working to build new IT services for the future.” Clare’s experience with leading research, experimentation, and piloting of emerging learning technologies will assist Pace in promoting innovation in an ever-changing technology environment both inside and outside of the classroom.

The CIO will work collaboratively to develop a Strategic agenda for Information Technology that leverages technology to enable and differentiate Pace’s teaching, learning, and research activities, and to optimize the overall student experience.
