On September 15th Pace University ITS is moving all students (with the exception of Pace University School of Law students) to Google Apps for Education – http://google.pace.edu [1], and they will join the 3,000+ students that either signed-up early for Google Apps for Education (GAE) or were successfully moved to GAE on August 23rd. Students will be able to send and receive new e-mails from http://google.pace.edu [1] on September 15th and delivery of e-mail to http://email.pace.edu [2] will cease.
- Once at http://google.pace.edu [1], use your MyPace Portal Username and Password
- Re-establish any previously existing forwards for e-mail from the settings tab once logged into http://google.pace.edu [1]
- Over 7 GB of e-mail storage; no more worries about having to delete mail
- Google Docs to create and share documents, spreadsheets, and presentations online
- The same e-mail address (i.e. username@pace.edu)
- Google Calendar to schedule meetings, create events, and share calendars with others
- Access to your information from anywhere with an internet connection; you can also access your e-mail with a mobile device - http://www.google.com/mobile/sync/ [3] or http://www.google.com/apps/intl/en/business/mobile.html [4]
- You will own your e-mail account after graduation
- All existing mail, sent items, calendar items, and contacts from the previous e-mail system will finish migrating before October 1st
