Student E-Mail and Blackboard Accounts

Student e-mail and Blackboard accounts are automatically generated after the student registers for classes and are active for the duration of a student's academic career at Pace University.

Students are issued electronic mail accounts (e-mail), which are used from time to time by the University administration and faculty as a means of communication. Students are expected to familiarize themselves with their account as soon as possible after registration and are required to check e-mail regularly.

Students may forward messages from their Pace-provided e-mail account to any non-Pace personal account. The University provides assistance in establishing this mail forwarding. However, the University does not assume any liability for mail delivery outside of its network or for third-party systems.

Student e-mail account addresses can be found through the White Pages. The student's username and password is the same as their MyPace Portal username and password.

Students can access their e-mail and Blackboard accounts as follows:

  • All new students who registered for classes May 25th, 2013 or later will need to access their email accounts by going to http://email.pace.edu.
  • All current Pace students registered for classes prior to May 25th, 2013 can continue to access their Pace email accounts through http://google.pace.edu.
  • All registered students can access Blackboard through http://blackboard.pace.edu.

For student's who have forgotten their password please go to the adam.pace.edu page. If you are having trouble accessing your account call ITS helpdesk at 914-773-3333 or Toll Free: 1-855-722-3487.

Guest Accounts for Pace Visitors

ITS offers a self-service system for students, faculty, and staff to generate guest accounts.   Students, faculty, and staff sponsors can request accounts for people who are visiting Pace University for a limited time.  A Pace guest account is to be used when an un-affiliated party (i.e.; non-student, faculty or staff) desires to access any of Pace's Information Technology services.

Wireless-only guest access: If all you need is wireless-only guest access, please review our How do I create a wireless-only guest account? Students, faculty, and staff can request wireless-only guest accounts for visitors.

Advanced Access for guests (Pace Staff/Faculty Sponsors Only): For more advanced access, sponsors must go to the IT Resource Access Request site at https://miisweb.pace.edu/MIISWorkflow and follow the login instructions using their MyPace Portal Username and Password. Once logged in, a sponsor can either request a new account, or make changes to accounts that have already been requested by them.

Please note: Only faculty and staff can request advanced access guest accounts for visitors.  When accessing the miisweb link from off-campus, sponsors must be logged in to Virtual Private Network (VPN). VPN can be downloaded from vpn.pace.edu (download page is only available from off-campus).

Advanced Access includes:

  • Computer Login (Allows access to Pace domain and Shared drives)
  • Accessing the Pace Internal Network (Allows access to internal only resources such as Kronos and SharePoint)
    • via wired Ethernet connection
    • via the Pace Wireless Network
