When connected to Pace’s VPN or Pace_Secure, RDP Lite lets you access your desktop PC using remote desktop connection.

Wyse PocketCloud is another Remote Desktop Connection app that lets you access your desktop PC when you’re connected to Pace_Secure or VPN.

GoodReader lets you view and even annotate large PDF documents as well as many other filetypes.

FileBrowser lets you access and browse network fileshares from your iPad or iPhone while connected to Pace_Secure or VPN.

MS OneNote for iPad and iPhone lets you access your OneNote notebooks via Microsoft’s SkyDrive from anywhere. The app is free for syncing up to 500 pages and must be upgraded via an in-app purchase after that.

Dropbox is a service that lets you sync folders across PCs, iPhones, iPads, Android devices and more.

Flipboard lets you access your Google Reader feeds, Facebook News Feed, Twitter, and more and formats it into a personalized magazine for your iOS device.

Blackboard’s Mobile Learn app allows students to access their Blackboard courses via their iPads and iPhones.

Idea Sketch allows you to draw diagrams like mind maps, concept maps, flow charts and more and even convert them to text outlines. It’s great for brainstorming and lets you export your diagrams to your photos app or email them to others.

SharePlus lets you access your department’s Microsoft SharePoint sites to share and collaborate on documents. There is a paid version for $14.99 with additional functionality as well.
