Chang Cai
Yangzhou, Jiangsu Province, China
I’m a 25-year old Chinese girl, pursuing a Master’s degree in Financial Management at Pace University. My career plan and dream is to work in different financial institutes, gathering diverse experience and contributing myself to the financial market construction here in the U.S. and in China. In my free time, I am an explorer of food, marathon runner, and a freelancer wandering around the city. The first time I studied abroad was in high school; I went to Japan as one of the first student delegations through the JENESYS Program. During my undergraduate years, I met a lot people from different countries through AIESEC's volunteering program. After graduation, I traveled to Australia, New Zealand, and Fiji. Hence, I’m so excited to be one of the Global Ambassadors at Pace University so that I can share all of my experiences of studying and living in the city. Please feel free to contact me!

Dax Patel
Surat, Gujarat, India
Hello everyone, I am currently doing my master's in Computer Science. The one thing I am very fond of is travelling to places around the world. I did my first master's in Electrical Engineering with Renewable Energy Systems in London. I like to challenge myself by doing something new. I keep pushing myself until I complete what I plan to do. Apart from studies, I like to click pictures of the places where not many people go, quiet and different places. My motivation in becoming a Global Ambassador is meeting people from different countries and getting to know more about their culture.

Helene Brunaes
Sandefjord, Norway and Singapore
Hey there! I am a Junior at Pace studying Marketing with a concentration in Advertising and Marketing Communications. Although I was born in Norway, I consider myself to be part Singaporean and Australian after having spent my childhood years in both Singapore and Australia! I live for music (the photo above is me singing to Stevie Wonder), photography, food, wonderful human interactions and my 7-year-old puppy Leica (who was coincidentally named after the camera manufacturer, Leica). While my parents and puppy live in Singapore, my brother and extended family live in Norway and my best friends are scattered across the world. Each day, I am making a new home for myself in the US and I applied to be a Global Ambassador in the hopes that I can help others find their home here as well! If you do see me on campus or on the streets of New York, please don't hesitate to say Hi! or Hey! or Hallo! I am always happy to have a conversation and answer any questions you may have. I look forward to meeting you!

Jenny Li
Beijing, China
Hi everyone! My English name is Jenny. I was born in China in 1997. When I was nine months old, I moved to a beautiful country called Botswana with my parents. I’ve lived there all my life, so Botswana is where I consider home. Growing up in a country where there is no snow, I have never skied until last year December and I fell in love with the sport. My major is Public Accounting; I am currently in my third year of the five year program for combined Bachelor's and Master’s Degree. As a Global Ambassador, I wish to become a member of a team that will welcome international students like me into the Pace community and help them with any inquiries, which they may come across during their time here.

Kate Zheng

Hi everyone! I am from Wenzhou, China, a southeast seaside city. Before transferring to Pace University, I spent my freshman year in Hangzhou. However, as one of few people who are not a big fan of the city, I decided to go abroad, and that brought me to Pace. I am majoring in Public Accounting, but I like so many other things as well! Such as cooking, hiking, and solving puzzles. I am more than happy to share my experiences with you and to help you find Pace University as a fantastic place to enrich your college life. Last but not least, welcome to the big family!

I was born in Australia to Swiss and Italian parents. I grew up in Thailand, Indonesia, Ghana, Australia, and Switzerland and have three sisters and a brother; I never really experienced a quiet family atmosphere! I look forward to connecting with incoming international students and advocating for Pace University to the greater community, especially when it comes time for applications and orientations.

Pim Pinyowisarn
Bangkok, Thailand
My name is Pimpapat Pinyowisarn, or Pim. I'm from Thailand, the land of smiles. I just finished my Global Pathway last Fall. I'm currently pursuing my MBA in marketing management. I have been in New York for a year and a half and moved to so many places around New York, and now I'm currently living in Brooklyn, so I am quite familiar with many great spots. Exploring new places is my goal everyday.

Rawwaf Alkharji
Dammam, Saudi Arabia
Rawwaf is my name but by all means, call me Raúl. One might say Raúl has nothing in common with Rawwaf. Like the individual who was asked: why do you believe in shaving before a workout?

“That is how I do it, and I don’t really need a reason” - Barack Obama.

I love socializing, eating, and laughing. Ping-Pong and the gym are my “getaway” activities from a busy school day. Any interesting visual art is entertaining for me; that includes movies, shows, educated conversations, comedy, etc. I am an active person. Fun fact about me is that I can’t handle any group of little tiny holes gathered together in one place, my body gets goose bumps. It’s called trypophobia.

Shannon Zhu
Jinan, China
Hi, this is Shannon. I have been in NY for 5 years. My first master’s degree is in accounting. I passed all four parts of my CPA exams, so I’d like to discuss all CPA questions with you. Now, I am working towards my second master’s degree in Financial Risk Management. I like traveling, but always get lost. If you also always get lost, let’s discover a new world together. If you are good at directions, let’s meet the world together.

Solmaz Azimi
Kabul, Afghanistan
Hello, I am Solmaz! I come from the glorious country of Afghanistan, despite having lived predominately in Kenya, Pakistan, and Switzerland. I moved to New York to disappear because I always felt uncommon—almost too cultured, yet the people I met proved quite otherwise! I was a dancer and a painter before Pace University, and now I am an aspiring chemist (one more year to go). I am passionate about science, sustainability, cultural competency, art art art, innovation, nature (come park-hopping with me!), and science (I know I already mentioned it, but I really am a nerd). Above all, I am here to provide some solid advice on ambition, academia, professionalism, and well, making the most of New York and Pace.

Tine Stenberg
Oslo, Norway
I am a 22- year old Norwegian girl, currently studying in Arts & Entertainment management here at Pace University. My hopes and dreams when it comes to my future career include working within the film, television and the music industry doing different types of events. I love to travel and experience new things and would like to one day be able to travel the world, learn about different cultures, and work with animals as well. I think learning about different people and cultures is one of the most important things we humans can gain going through life. Hence, one of the reasons I am thrilled to be one of the Global Ambassadors. I am excited to meet and help both new and current students, so don't hesitate to contact me.
