Video Conferencing

The Educational Media Centers operate videoconferencing facilities at One Pace Plaza and Pleasantville. These facilities are equiped with multiple displays around the room that allow for a truly immersive videoconferencing experience. A ceiling mounted microphone and cameras in the front and back of the room provide a full capture range of audio and video regardless of position in the room.  Any one of these facilities can connect with sites around the world. All controls of the videoconferencing unit is controlled from the podium in front of the room that is also equipped with a standard desktop pc and document camera to share anything from powepoint presentations to hand written notes. All videoconferencing spaces are call in capable for those who would like to join a conference but don't have video capabilites.

HOW TO GET THIS SERVICE

The request must be placed via the HelpDesk Ticketing System. Please follow the steps below.

  1. Type help.pace.edu onto your internet browser or click here.
  2. Login using your pace credentials
  3. Click “Request” on the top tab options 
  4. Select “Information Technology” in the Request Type drop down menu
  5. Select “Educational Media” as a sub-category
  6. Select “Videoconference Order Form”
  7. You can now fill in the reminder of the request with course information
  8.  Click “Save” in the bottom right side of the form to submit your tickets!

Please note that, Educational Media accepts meeting requests only after the Academic Class Videoconference Schedule is in place for any future semester. Please contact your Educational Media office for more information.

Educational Media must schedule all Video Conference Classes and Meetings in Civic E319 and Miller M16. To ensure accuracy we request a 72 hours notice (please keep in mind that the 72 hours excludes weekends). In planning a meeting please be aware that NO food or drinks are allowed in any of the videoconferencing rooms.
