Pace Law School's Environmental Law Program Ranked

in the Nation by U.S. News & World Report
New York, NY- April 7, 2003 – U.S. News & World Report
has once again ranked Pace Law School’s Environmental Law Program 3rd
nationwide in its "America's Best Graduate Schools 2004"
survey. U.S.News & World Report determines the Environmental Law
Program rankings by tallying nominations given by peer law schools.

Pace Law School was one of the first law schools in the country to
develop a comprehensive environmental law curriculum. Today, the Law
School offers over 25 environmental courses and houses an
award-winning Environmental Litigation Clinic, an internationally
respected Energy Project that focuses on developing sustainable energy
programs and a highly regarded Land Use Law Center.
The program continues to grow thanks to its dedicated faculty who
have been pioneers in environmental law and who continue to serve as
national and worldwide leaders. Their work has led to the development
of comparative environmental law courses with Brazil and Singapore,
and to the participation by Pace law School as a founding member of a
new international Academy of Environmental law that will be
established at a meeting in Singapore in November 2003. Pace Law
School offers a joint degree programs with Yale University School of
Forestry & Environmental Studies and the Bard Center for
Environmental Policy. No other law school offers such a depth and
breadth of environmental legal education.
Founded in 1976, Pace Law School is located in White Plains, N.Y.,
20 miles north of New York City. Part of Pace University, the school
offers the J.D. program for full-time and part-time day and evening
students. Its postgraduate program includes the LL.M. and S.J.D.
degrees in Environmental Law and an LL.M. in Comparative Legal
Studies. Pace has one of the nation's top-rated Environmental Law
programs and its Clinical Education program also is nationally ranked,
offering clinics in domestic violence prosecution, environmental law,
securities arbitration, and criminal justice in addition to disability
