Bennett L. Gershman - Government Ethics
Bennett L. Gershman is a leading authority on courtroom and government ethics and the author of the authoritative text Prosecutorial Misconduct. Gershman spent nearly 10 years working with the New York State Anti-Corruption Unit and as a Special Assistant to the Attorney General. A graduate of New York University School of Law, Gershman teaches criminal procedure, trial advocacy and constitutional law at Pace.

Thomas M. McDonnell - International Human Rights Law 
Thomas M. McDonnell’s expertise in International Human Rights Law covers a range of vital global issues including racial and ethnic profiling, kidnapping and renditions, and the death penalty.  His articles on lawyering, legal research, and international human rights law have appeared in numerous publications including the National Law Journal and the Journal of Legal Education.  At Pace, Professor McDonnell coaches the Jessup Moot Court Team and is the Faculty Chairperson of the Criminal Law/Legal Writing Program.

Randolph McLaughlin - Civil Rights and Voting Rights Legislation
Randolph McLaughlin is an expert on civil rights and voting rights legislation. He is the Director of the Pace University Social Justice Center as well as the Executive Director of the Hale House in New York City, a not-for-profit organization designed to provide support for children and families in need. Before joining Pace, McLaughlin was the Associate Legal Director at the Center for Constitutional Rights. A graduate of Harvard Law School, McLaughlin teaches civil procedure, labor law, civil rights law, civil rights litigation and criminal justice.

Vanessa Merton - Immigration Law and Legal Ethics
Vanessa Merton’s expertise lies in Immigration Law and Legal Ethics.  At Pace, Professor Merton is a professor of law and the clinical supervisor of the Immigration Justice Clinic.  She also offers legal aid to Neighbors Link, a community center for the working poor.  Professor Merton is also co-founder of the Access to Health Care and Health in the Workplace, the founding chair of the Institutional Review Board of the Community Research Initiative of New York, one of the first centers for community-based biomedical research on AIDS, and the first Associate for Law at the Hastings Center Institute for Society, Ethics, and the Life Sciences. She is also a member of the Mt. Sinai Occupational Health Clinic Advisory Board.

Michael B. Mushlin - Prisoner's Rights and Child Welfare Law
Michael B. Mushlin is an authority on prisoner’s rights and child welfare law. Mushlin was previously the Project Director of the Prisoner’s Rights Project of the Legal Aid Society and currently serves on the American Bar Association Task Force on the Legal Status of Prisoners. A graduate of Northwestern University, Mushlin teaches civil procedure, criminal procedure and the History of Corrections.

Nicholas Robinson - Environmental Law
Nicholas Robinson is one of the nation’s leading authorities on environmental law. He currently serves as a legal advisor and chairman of the Commission on Environmental Law of the International Union for the Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources, which drafts treaties and counsels different countries on their environmental law. Robinson was formerly the general counsel of the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation and was responsible for drafting New York’s wetland and wild bird laws. A graduate of Columbia University School of Law, Robinson is the founder of Pace Law’s environmental law programs and teaches a number of environmental law courses.
