Persistent Links and Stable URLs
Brief directions for the following library resources
that utilize persistent linking are listed below:
ACM — IEEE — JSTOR — Literature Resource Center
Ebsco Databases — ProQuest Databases
ACM
ACM is a database that contains literature from the field of computer science. Once you locate an article, use the DOI Bookmark to link to a specific article.
Example:

The persistent link for this article is:
http://rlib.pace.edu/login?url=http://doi.acm.org/10.1145/954339.954340
Persistent links can be retrieved from this database by simply copying and pasting the desired URL from the address window at the top of the screen. I recommend linking to an abstract of an article. This allows users to select either HTML or PDF format for viewing articles.
