In the Past
- March 12th, 2009 Pace University, Westchester, welcomed the artists and writers for the inaugural Handmade/Homemade Exhibit. This mini-exhibition included handmade, homemade and letterpress chapbooks, one-of-a-kind editions and broadsides.
- November 3-25. Day in YOUR Life Photo Contest. All students were asked to participate.
- September 23, 2008, 6:44 AM to 6:52 PM. Sunrise to Sunset Read Aloud. Students, Faculty, and staff read continuously from 6:44 AM (Sunrise) to 6:52 PM (Sunset). Participants read original works and previously published material.
- September 19, 2007 Sunrise to Sunset Read Aloud. Students, Faculty, and staff read continuously from 6:30 AM (Sunrise) to 7:00 PM (Sunset).
- April 2007: Hosted the "You have seen the forest, but do you see the trees?" contest! Identify photos of various locations on campus to win a $25 gift certificate to the Pace bookstore.
- November 28, 2006: A University memorial service for David T. S. Leighton, Associate University Librarian for Westchester, was held on Tuesday, November 28th at 12:00 noon in the Commons area of the Mortola Library. David´s child-hood friend, Reverend Charles Calcagni officiated. .
- September 20, 2006: Mortola Library Read Aloud - This year we raised funds for Literacy Volunteers of Westchester. Students, faculty, and staff read continuously from 6:40 am (Sunrise) to 6:56 pm (Sunset). Participants read original works and previously published material..
