Association of American University Presses http://aaupnet.org: Official website of the AAUP. Useful resources for non-members include a membership directory and current issues articles.
American Book Trade Directory Birnbaum Ref Z475.A5 2003/2004: Covers the US and Canada, arranged geographically by state/province and then city. Entries include information about stores, store size, # of vols., types of books and subject specialties. Statistical information included.
BookWeb http://www.bookweb.org/: The official website of the American Booksellers Association. Useful non-membership features include Member Directories, Industry Newsroom, and Research & Statistics. Includes a link to Bookselling This Week

Journal Articles from Library Databases

Use Pace Library databases to find articles from magazines, journals and newspapers on your research topic. All are available from the links below or from the Library home page (http://www.pace.edu/library). Click on Articles via Databases, then choose from the lists provided. Remote users must login in with Pace E-mail and Password.

ABI-Inform: Abstracts and indexes over 1,000 management, marketing and business journals from 1971 to the present. Also includes Full Text coverage of more than 500 major publications from 1991 onward.
Business and Company Resource Center: This highbred database contains company profiles, company brand information, rankings, investment reports, company histories, chronologies, as well as magazine and journal articles. Search this database to find detailed company and industry news and information.
Business Source Premier: provides full text for over 2,710 scholarly business journals covering management, economics, finance, accounting, international business and much more.
Lexis-Nexis Universe: A full text news, business, legal database. Great legal resource. Newspapers and magazines tend to be "popular." Newsletters and trade publications are included.

Integrated with WorldCat's "Find in a Library," which will search across multiple library collections. (See also:Yahoo Toolbar) Tip: Check the Pace Library catalog before paying for access to scholarly journal articles - we may already have a print or electronic subscription and can get them for you via interlibrary loan if we don't.
Profusion http://www.profusion.com/nav: A meta-search engine providing access to hundreds of specialized vertical search engines. Profusion aids access to "hidden" web sources, such as e-zines and newletters, and lets users create "search alerts" and personalized search pages.
Resource Discovery Network http://www.rdn.ac.uk: A searchable directory of web sites selected for their quality and reliability. Results are annotated and indexed by subject heading. Tip: try broad searches first, then narrow if needed.
Yahoo Toolbar http://www.oclc.org/toolbar/: Search options include WorldCat's "Find in a Library," which allows you to search across multiple library collections. Results ordered by proximity to zip code entered.
