This database contains tables of contents, abstracts, reviews and the full-text for articles published in the ACM (Association of Computing Machinery) periodicals and proceedings since 1985. Full-text is not yet available for every proceeding article published before 1991. The full-text of ACM Special Interest Groups (SIGs) publications are also available. SIGs, which operate as semiautonomous bodies within ACM, have been formed to address such specialized subject areas as Computer Graphics, Computers and Society, Programming Languages, Operating Systems and a host of other subject areas in computer science and information science.
