Handbook of Family Measurement Techniques

Provides abstracts of nearly 1000 instruments and includes: dimensions of interaction, intimacy and family values, parenthood, roles and power, and adjustment. Each abstract provides a brief description, references and comments.

Entries include a test description, purpose, population, publication dates, administration, publisher and a review of the test. Indexes: classified subject, names, score, and acronyms. The volumes do not cumulate, so check the earlier volumes if the test you need is not in the latest edition.

Psychology database published by the American Psychological Association.  Also see PsycArticles, which includes the full-text of APA journals dating back to 1988.

Education Abstracts    1983-present

Abstracts only, selected full text available in Omnifile (another database).

ERIC    1966-present

Citations and abstracts for over 980 journals dealing with education and related fields.

Medline    1966-present

Indexes journals published in the U.S. and internationally.  Covers all areas of medicine, including psychiatry.

Sociological Abstracts    1963-present

English-language journals in sociology, social work, and other social sciences.
