Materials for electronic access will be accessible through
Blackboard most of the time. Some professors use the library's reserve
system to place reading materials online. You obtain access to Pace
University Library's Electronic Reserves System from the library's home page.
You will need a password given to you by your instructor for access.
To access a professor's online course readings, select Reserves on the Library's home page, and then click Electronic Reserves. Disclaimers or acknowledgements often need to be confirmed to proceed. The copyright agreement in the Electronic Reserves has to be confirmed. By clicking on the "Electronic Reserves and Course Materials" link, you will be able to obtain reserved materials. At the Course Index page, various options are provided to locate reserve materials: by department, by instructor, or by course. Since a professor may have more than one class each semester, a list is displayed of courses taught by that professor. Select only the class you are attending. At the Course Page, it is here that you must enter the password given to you by the professor. Once the course is selected and the password is entered, a list of the reserved titles is presented. Paper Reserves are for on-campus students, that is, they are physically in the library and will state Birnbaum Reserve or Mortola Reserve. To access electronic reserve materials select Course Reserves in the "Find Resources" section on the library's home page, http://library.pace.edu. Created by Pace University Library |
