Education:  Professor Berro holds the following degrees: PNP post masters certificate from State University of New York, Stony Brook; MA in Nursing Education from New York University, NY; BSN (Nursing) from Queens University, Charlotte, NC; Diploma (Nursing) from Presbyterian Hospital School of Nursing, Charlotte, NC.

Areas of Expertise:  Pediatric Nursing, Pathophysiology, Simulation, and education technology. Professor Berro is currently teaching several undergraduate courses in pathophysiology and pharmacology.  She also serves as Co-director of Undergraduate Simulation and is a Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE).

Professional Experience: Currently, Professor Berro is a full time faculty member at Pace University, after serving as an adjunct faculty member at the university for ten years. She teaches in both the RN4 and ABSN programs. Professor Berro began her nursing career as staff nurse in a pediatric intensive care unit at The New York Hospital, NY. Throughout her career, she has worked in pediatric nursing areas including: pediatric intensive care, emergency department, outpatient phone triage, as hospital instructor for general pediatrics, and served as a PALS instructor and car seat safety technician.
